Elementary School Curriculum
The elementary program is fully integrated with our state-of-the-art computer lab and beautiful elementary library which contains nearly 12,000 books. We have experiential education programs too, including AstroCamp, Malibu Creek, and our own Cedar Lake camp.
We are known in the community for our long tradition of educational excellence. Children begin their elementary education at Pilgrim in a developmentally-based program in Junior Kindergarten or regular Kindergarten. By the end of first grade, they are already suitably ensconced in our more rigorous academic curriculum. With small classes taught in a supportive learning environment, Pilgrim students develop a solid foundation in core subjects and are well prepared to successfully compete in their secondary education. Many choose to matriculate through our own program where every year we send 100% of our graduating seniors to colleges and universities.
