Welcome, Pilgrim School Alumni
Dear Alumni,
Since Pilgrim School opened its doors in 1958, thousands of students have studied in classrooms in the historic Church and Seaver buildings, enjoyed the inviting libraries, played on the yard, and matriculated in the majestic First Congregational Church sanctuary.
If you are a former Pilgrim School student (or family member, or faculty, staff, or governing board member), we would love to reconnect with you. Pilgrim School may look different in some ways than when you attended (the new Seaver courtyard, for example), but its spirit is the same
Pilgrim School honors the individuality of each student, and provides a first-rate college preparatory education from preschool through Grade 12
Whether you were at Pilgrim School for one year or were a “lifer,” please stay in touch. Tell us about yourself, using this (download form) so that you will receive invitations to alumni events, the alumni newsletter, and other events.
My son Gabriel has been at Pilgrim since 6th grade. He is now a junior, a member of the Class of 2010. I have witnessed first-hand the benefits he has received as a member of a nurturing school which challenges him and also welcomes him. I am a proud Pilgrim parent, the mother of a proud future alumnus of Pilgrim School.
In our Golden Anniversary year, we are making special efforts to include alumni in all of our activities. Click here for a list of alumni-related events, and help us to make this a banner year for your alma mater!
I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you!
With all best wishes,
Toni DeVito
Director of Alumni Relations
PS: Since I’m asking you to tell us a little bit about yourselves …. let me tell you a little bit about myself! I grew up in Culver City, and attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon. My B.A. is in American Studies. I have worked in museums in Portland, San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. I “retired” when my children were small, and volunteered extensively at my sons’ elementary school. When I was ready to go back to the workplace, I wanted to work in a school because I believe so strongly in education and love the creativity and energy of learning. I was fortunate to be able to work here, strengthening Pilgrim School. Literature is my passion, and I also love travel and studying Iyengar yoga.
