The Association of Parents for Pilgrim School (TAPPS) invites all parents and student guardians to take an active role in your parent run organization. We work together to create and sustain the creative, challenging, nurturing educational environment at Pilgrim School where all of our children will thrive and learn.
TAPPS supports Pilgrim School in four important ways:
- Regular meetings facilitate communications between parents, faculty, staff and board
- Fundraising provides financial support for school operations and special projects
- Social events build community
- Volunteers offer time and talents in support of faculty, staff and students.
Each class has a TAPPS classroom representative who coordinates parent support for your child's teachers and classroom activities. We urge you to be responsive when your Class Rep asks for your assistance.
Every school family is automatically a member of TAPPS. To succeed, we need every family to participate. Work and family commitments may make it difficult to attend the monthly meetings, but you can still take an active part by volunteering in any number of ways. We hope you will contact TAPPS officers whenever you have suggestions for parent involvement or topics that you would like discussed at the monthly meetings.
Please let us know what we can do to make it easier for you to participate. We look forward to working with you throughout the school year.
Sincerely,
