Pilgrim Emergency Fund

Dear Pilgrim Families,

The challenges of the last few months have been unexpected, disruptive, and nerve-wracking to say the least. I know it has been difficult juggling work, family, and your children's distance learning education, and I want to take this opportunity to recognize you for all your hard work. For Pilgrim, your partnership and support have been truly instrumental in the success of our distance learning program, and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making it possible for our students and teachers.

As we plan for next year, we know that there will be many challenges. We are anticipating an unprecedented increase in our tuition assistance needs as the Covid-19 crisis continues to take a toll on our economy. The school has taken proactive steps by increasing our tuition assistance budget and reaching out to families in need, while, at the same time, working with various outside funding sources for this purpose. However, in order for our tuition assistance program to meet the challenges before us, we need the help of our community.

At this time, we invite our community to join this effort so that we can get through this time together. If, and only if, you are in a position to extend a helping hand, we ask that you consider donating to Pilgrim's Emergency Fund, which will supplement our tuition assistance budget for next year. We have chosen to put this fund in place to help ensure that our families in need will be able to continue to be a part of our community, and we hope you will support us and our families. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding our Emergency Fund, or are in need of our support, please reach out to me or to Nari Kye, Director of Advancement.

Whatever help you can provide is sincerely appreciated during this extraordinary time, and we hope you will continue to engage with us to keep our special Pilgrim connection alive. Thank you for being a part of this extraordinary community and for your continued support that makes Pilgrim School a home for all of us.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Paul Barsky
