High School Admission

High School Admissions Process (Grades 9 -12)

At Pilgrim, we understand the importance of finding the right school for your child. That's why we're here to support you every step of the way. Our step-by-step process below describes each phase and provides links and downloads for everything you’ll need to submit your application.

Step 1: Get to Know Us

Complete an interest form to stay up to date with upcoming admissions events, dates and deadlines.

Step 2: Submit Your Application

Create an account in our online admissions portal and follow the application process.

Step 3: Request & Submit Recommendations

Request recommendations from your current English teacher, math teacher and principal/head of school through our online admissions portal, Compass.

Step 4: Request & Submit Grade Reports

Using the Transcript Release Form, contact your child's current and previous schools to request their transcripts be sent to us. You can do this in Compass or by emailing your current school.

Step 5: Student Interview and Shadow Day

There are a limited number of shadow days available for applicants and they will be offered based on the date the application is submitted. During the shadow day, applicants will have the opportunity to shadow a current student and experience life at Pilgrim. We will be in touch with details to book a shadow day once your application is complete.

Step 6: Admissions Decision and Enrollment

Admissions decisions will be sent electronically to families on March 13, 2026 at 5 p.m. Upon acceptance, families will have one week to make an enrollment decision, which is due on March 20, 2026. Enrollment contracts will be available in the Compass portal. A new student fee of $2,500 and a non-refundable tuition deposit of $2,500 will be due at the time of enrollment.

A Note about ISEE Assessments

The Pilgrim School does not require ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) scores in our admission process. This is optional for the 2026-27 admission season.
